Carol flew through all her work again with such drive and determination to succeed. Carol was now also working at Newquay Hospital - and it was here that she hoped to start her first real job post graduation. Carol's mentor was Sue - who would become one of Carol's closest friends over the last few years. Carol also met Jeanette here - another very good friend. As the 2nd year progressed Carol's health deteriorated and she had numerous tests with doctors and hospitals - nobody could find out the cause of the problem. During the last few weeks of the year Carol withdrew from placements and completed a lot of her work at home - but she still passed the 2nd year - just one more to go now.
