We'd lived in the infamous flat in Old Trafford for 14 months (felt like the end of the world!) but were finally given a 3 bedroomed house on the Sinderland Estate in Broadheath.
This house would be where our family would grow up and we would buy it outright in 1997 - this purchase would later mean we could afford to move to Cornwall.
