We'd been saving up for this trip - it was a late 40th birthday present for Carol. Margaret & Michael came with us and we spent 3 days in New York, visiting Asbury Park, New Jersey on a Springsteen pilgrimage while we were there!! We flew on to Memphis (the real destination!) & Carol got to Graceland - it was a fantastic holiday and Carol's joy and tears will stay with me forever. We even managed a night's stay at the Heartbreak Hotel - just a magical trip.
